To You-50 Years From Now
Nanda Venkatesh's letter to be enclosed in a time capsule that will be opened 50 years from now.
This is from the year 2022-the time of the dangerous pandemic, COVID-19. This virus has caused a lot of trouble over the past 3 years. The whole world is isolated and a lot of people are suffering. And the worst part is-it doesn’t even end there. Many countries are at war now. There're disputes everywhere. Civilians are being murdered and its hell everywhere. Yet, humanity has not lost hope. We still stand tall.
I may not know what situation you’re in but have hope, because if there’s no hope, there’s no way. During this time, all that keeps me from thinking about the dangers of life are my friends, family and my laptop through which I'm typing now. I want things to go back the way they were before this, but I figured out that I have to wait. Until this mutiny is over, I need to stay isolated and find a way to live. It seemed as though all hope was lost, but I kept hoping, and I think the day is almost here-the day things go back to normal. From the past two years, I learnt a valuable lesson-never stop HOPING. Even though I don’t know what the future holds for me, I will hope for good things. And if good things don’t occur by themselves-I'll make them occur. To the future reader, remember this-NEVER LOSE HOPE.
THE END
